چکیده
An aberrant right subclavian artery described by David Bayford, is rare and one of the aortic arch anomalies. It gives usually incidental findings. We present case a 57-year-old woman who was admitted to neurology outpatient clinic due headache no obvious pathology detected during physical examination. In consequence brain chest CT angiography, anomalies branches were found asymptomatic bicarotid trunk diagnosed. The presence this anomaly becoming increasingly important in avoiding vascular injuries cerebral complications patients undergoing endovascular intervention on aorta surgery, thyroidectomy, or cervicothoracic surgery. So, detailed knowledge variations paramount for radiologists surgeons operating region anterior neck.

Aneurysm of the aberrant right subclavian artery – a case report
BACKGROUND The right subclavian artery, originating not from the brachiocephalic trunk but directly from the aortic arch, is a rare anatomical abnormality. 'Arteria lusoria' is the accepted name of the retroesophageal right subclavian artery. Such a vessel location, between the vertebral column and the esophagus, determines its course to the right. This defect may be asymptomatic, found during ...
متن کاملTracheostomy reveals a rare aberrant right subclavian artery; a case report
BACKGROUND: Anomalies of vascular anatomy in the neck are well recognised. We present a case of a very rare aberrant artery discovered during tracheostomy. CASE PRESENTATION: Elective tracheostomy was performed in theatre for an elderly gentleman on long-term ventilation. Pre-operative examination of the neck revealed no obvious abnormality. During surgery, a large vessel was revealed overlying...
متن کاملA Rare Case of Esophageal Dysphagia in Children: Aberrant Right Subclavian Artery
Dysphagia is an impairment of swallowing that may involve any structures from the mouth to the stomach. Esophageal dysphagia presents with the sensation of food sticking, pain with swallowing, substernal pressure, or chronic heartburn. There are many causes of esophageal dysphagia, such as motility disorders and mechanical and inflammatory diseases. Infrequently dysphagia arises from extrinsic ...

BACKGROUND Aberrant R/subclavian artery is a rare congenital anomaly involving aortic arch. Oesophageal carcinoma with associated aberrant R/subclavian artery is very rare and only few cases has been reported in literature. If unrecognized and injured during oesophageal surgery, it can lead to disastrous complications. When associated with oesophageal carcinoma, it can cause diagnostic confusio...
متن کاملDysphagia Lusoria: A Case of an Aberrant Right Subclavian Artery and a Bicarotid Trunk
Dysphagia Lusoria is dysphagia secondary to an aberrant right subclavian artery that has a retroesophageal course. Adachi and Williams categorized aortic arch anomalies, showing that the right subclavian artery arising in this fashion (as the final branch of the descending aortic arch) is one of the more common. However, this very rarely coexists with a bicarotid trunk. We present such a case a...
